Climate change is one of the most concerning topics of our era. Countries across the world is committed to reduce and emissions and meet net zero goals by 2050.
We are InfraTech Systems. An organisation working to provide IT services to the organisations to increase their efficiency, reduce their cost, secure their data and create an IT strategy to meet most of their needs in the ever-changing technology landscape.
Here at InfraTech Systems, we are committed to our responsibility towards our planet and reduce our emissions in line with UK net zero plan to meet their 2050 goals and based on SBTi guidelines. We are starting our journey to support the reduction targets in line with the global ambition to keep climate change below 1.5°C. We are committed to achieve net zero emissions by 2040 across the scopes defined below.

InfraTech is committed to achieving net zero emissions by 2040 goals. We have started our journey to commit to measuring, reducing and offsetting our operational emissions from 2025.
Baseline emission footprint
Baseline emissions are a record of the Green House Gas emissions that have been produced in the past and produced prior to the introduction of any emission reduction strategies. Baseline emission footprints provide a reference point against which emission’s reduction can be measured. We have taken year 2024 as our baseline year.
The GHG Protocol has defined three scopes of emissions to categorise the different kinds of emissions a company or organisation creates. The scopes correlate to who ‘owns’ those emissions and the level of control applicable to changing those emission levels at each stage. Scope one are direct emissions that are owned or controlled by a company, whereas scope two and three are indirect emissions that are consequences of the activities of the company but occur from sources not owned or controlled by it.

Note: NA* - InfraTech Systems is a service company dealing with technology, consulting, and outsourcing and our services are provided over digital /mobile networks which doesn’t require physical transportation and distribution. The emissions produced because of electricity usage for delivering our services to our clients has already been accounted under scope one and scope two emissions. Hence, this category is not applicable to us, and we have not calculated the GHG emissions associated with it.
Emissions reduction targets
In 2025, we committed to becoming net zero by 2040, with near term targets to achieve by 2030. Our targets are validated by the Science Based Targets Initiatives and are in line with a 1.5-degree temperature increase scenario. We are in the early phase of our net zero journey and yearly improvements will be communicated through our carbon reduction plan.
Our commitment involves an 80% reduction in our scope one and two emissions by 2030 against the baseline year and a 50% reduction in scope three emissions during the same period. We are committed to strengthening our climate action into supplier engagement, client services and market advocacy. Our long-term goal is to reduce our scope one and two emissions by 100% by 2035 against the baseline year with a 70% reduction in scope three emissions during the same period.
We are a growing business and our current headcount of 15 employees is expected to grow by 100% by the end of FY 26\27. Our decarbonisation plan will adapt as we grow and we will aim to reduce our tCO₂ targe per employee each year in line with our overall carbon reduction map
Our key initiatives in 2025 to reduce carbon emissions:
- Baselining our emissions for the year 2024
- Hybrid working model (60% WFH)
- Responsible business travel by adopting online platform to connect with stakeholders
- Cloud based IT infrastructure
- EV based company vehicles
- Environmental conscious supply chain partners
- Carbon offsetting initiatives such as tree plantation
Short term initiatives (FY 2025\2030) :
- Adoption of Energy management system
- Submit Science based target as per SBTi guidance
- Collection of detailed emission data to improve emission tracking and reporting
- Employee engagement programs and training
- Use of renewable energy in our operations
- Adoption of circularity in our company IT assets (laptop, desktops, etc)
- Waste recycling and plastic less operations
- Carbon offsetting initiatives through verified carbon sequestration programme
Emissions monitoring and tracking
After setting the baseline year of 2024, this will be communicated both internally and externally and tracking will commence. Progress will be reviewed annually and any required changes to this carbon reduction plan will be implemented in order to achieve our set goals. All communication will present data and progress transparently. A year by year emission reduction report will be provided along with actions taken to reduce emissions.
